Confidently master your child's food allergies for a safe, healthy, happy, and included life!
I've Been There!
I am a food allergy mom of 15 years, and I have been where you are today.
I am dedicated to mastering my son’s food allergies daily, advocating for our children, and educating the broader community about food allergies. My passion is helping others so I transitioned from technology executive to food allergy coach.
My Heart Breaks...
My heart breaks every time I hear of a child dying from anaphylaxis, seeing an infant with extreme eczema, or watching a child be excluded or not have something to eat. It is our responsibility to protect and love every child. If I can just help one child, then I have done what God wants me to do.
My Mission...
My mission is to simplify the lives of food allergy parents and grow our food allergy community so that we can help our children.
What I do...
I help parents CONFIDENTLY master their child's food allergies for a SAFE, INCLUDED, HEALTHY, and HAPPY life.
I want to simplify the lives of other food allergy moms with all that I have researched, learned, experienced, and created.
You and your child can live a beautiful life in spite of food allergies!

I was where you are today. My 15-year journey with my son born with food allergies brought different challenges at each stage of his life dealing with safety, what to eat, how for him to be included, and our mental and emotional health. I can shortcut your journey.
My journey...
I am a Mississippi girl raised in the south (GRITS) and a single mom of two sons with one son born with severe food allergies.I have a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and was a technology executive. Before I had kids, I was so driven to rise to the top of the corporate ladder. My team told me I would be a CEO someday. The day my first son was born that all changed. My focus and priority were my sons and rising to the top no longer mattered.
I transitioned from technology executive to food allergy coach. Why? Because my passion is helping others. My greatest satisfaction in the corporate world was mentoring engineers, inspiring them, and watching them grow.
I have always been very involved in my two sons' lives volunteering at every opportunity I can. This includes the team mom, snack mom, room mom, class chaperone, and scout leader.
My son's journey...
As an infant my youngest son was not eating, not sleeping, had a head-to-toe itchy rash, he was losing weight, we kept mittens on his hands and a beanie on his head so he would not scratch, and all his hair fell out. I went to many doctors, one called it baby acne, and one said babies don't have allergies.
At 5 months, I was desperate. I called yet another dermatologist and allergist sobbing begging for help. Both got me in the next day and my son was properly diagnosed with dairy, egg, and nut allergies along with asthma and eczema. No matter how many obstacles were in our future, we now had a path forward.
It has been a long journey of heartache, education, and discovery. My son has had 10 anaphylactic attacks, his first at 10 months old. That was so scary.
My challenges...
I have been fearful for his safety around others, the safety of surfaces and environments. Just a touch of the allergen on his lips would cause a chain reaction swelling of his digestive system and he would struggle to breath. It brings tears to my eyes now.
We have had challenges finding food options for him outside the home at restaurants, school, and others homes where sometimes he just did not eat.
People don't always consider needs--he doesn't want to be singled out nor does he want to be left out.
The more I educated myself, the more I challenged myself to give my son his best life, the more I began to understand what it took.
How I overcame...
There was so much overwhelm, I needed to simplify how I handled his food allergies. I created techniques to empower my son more and more so he could master his food allergies. I needed to manage the day-to-day so I came up with "navigators" that included how-to, tough conversations, scripts, and templates. I have found the best ways to conquer safety for my son.
Today
My son is now a thriving 15-year-old football player who masters his food allergies and is currently undergoing oral immunotherapy for milk. I am a few steps ahead of parents in a similar journey.
And that's just scratching the surface..
My Motto I Live By...
"The greatest gift from god is the ability to help others." I wrote this quote when I was in college and live by it.
Helping Others...
My mission is to help other parents and simplify their journey, reduce their anxiety, and be the support they need.
I am a few steps ahead in my journey. I want to give what I have learned and created so that moms can focus on other family needs.
Whenever I help another mom, I help a child.
Our Community...
Everything that I do to help another parent strengthens and grows the food allergy community. Ultimately, this gives my son a better life. If one small nugget from me impacts another food allergy parent or child then my day is made and my heart is full.
As a team dedicated to supporting food allergy moms, we understand the unique challenges you face in ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of your children. My Promise to You is our unwavering commitment to stand beside you, empowering you with the knowledge, resources, and support you need to provide your child with the best life possible.
By fulfilling My Promise to You, we hope to inspire confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging within our community of food allergy moms. Together, we can create a brighter future for our children, where their food allergies don't define them, but rather, contribute to their unique and incredible journey.

Stephanie Hills, known as Food Allergy Master Mom on Instagram, joins me in The Allergy Dragon's Lair podcast today. In this episode, Stephanie shares her allergy mom journey, experience with OIT, and why we should all become food allergy masters. There is empowerment in being prepared, knowing the facts, and mastering our allergies. This allergy Mom shares how her 15-year-old son has become a master of his food allergies and controls his OIT treatment.
Our conversation details the positive response her family has had with OIT. Stephanie shares allergic reactions, what they did, and why they chose OIT. We also covered how OIT was not the correct choice for my family. All of our Food allergy Journeys are different and so very important to share. Thanks to Stephanie for sharing her perspective and life lessons. Also, for reminding us that this is our challenge and no one knows what is right for your family but you!
